We recently had the privilege of welcoming Claudia Luna, a Specialized Paramedic from Grupo EMME – Emergency Medical Services, to the Aceros del Toro Monterrey facilities for an exciting first aid course organized by Dr. René Rodríguez, the company’s official physician.
For over an hour, our plant colleagues immersed themselves in a practical and interactive training session that not only educated but also boosted their confidence. Claudia guided us through protocols for handling injuries of varying severity, from superficial to deep wounds, ensuring we are equipped with the necessary knowledge to act swiftly in case of an emergency.
A critical part of the course focused on how to respond to cardiac arrest or heart attack situations. We learned and practiced CPR techniques as well as the proper use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)—skills that could make a life-saving difference while waiting for emergency services to arrive.
Claudia’s personalized approach and hands-on training left us feeling confident and prepared to face any situation that might arise, whether at the workplace or elsewhere.
At Aceros del Toro, the safety and well-being of our team are top priorities. This course was not only informative but also strengthened our team spirit and reminded us of the importance of being prepared to act during critical moments.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the medical staff at EMME and Claudia Luna for their invaluable contribution to this brief yet impactful first aid training!
